About Stoodio

Stoodio is a website builder and career intelligence platform for visual artists. We help painters, sculptors, photographers and digital artists publish a professional portfolio, sell their work without commissions, and understand how their career is growing through data the rest of the art market keeps to itself. We collect data because we need it to do our job, which isn't building you a website. It's helping your career grow.

What Stoodio is

Stoodio is two things in one product. On the surface, it's a portfolio website builder designed specifically for visual artists: fast, beautiful, mobile-ready, and free to start. Underneath, it's a career intelligence layer that turns your activity, your audience, and the wider art market into actionable insights. A Momentum Score that tracks your trajectory. A Gallery Visibility Score that measures how the professional art world sees you. Benchmarks you cannot get anywhere else.

Who Stoodio is for

Stoodio is built for working visual artists at every stage, from emerging painters preparing their first solo show to mid-career artists managing collectors across continents. If you make visual work and you want a serious online presence without paying gallery commissions or learning to code, Stoodio is for you. We are not a generic site builder. We don't serve florists, wedding photographers, or "small businesses." We serve artists.

How Stoodio is different

Three things set Stoodio apart from Wix, Squarespace, and Artsy. First, zero commission on sales: your work, your money, always. Second, a strict no-AI-training policy: your artwork and your style will never be used to train third-party AI models. Third, and most importantly, Stoodio gives you data nobody else gives artists, because we believe the people who generate the value of the art market should also see how that value moves.

How Stoodio started

Stoodio began in 2022 with a simple idea: help artists find studios. At first it was just us and our friends in London, swapping, sharing and subletting spaces to keep our practice alive and affordable. We quickly realised this was a challenge shared by thousands of artists across the city, so we opened our Instagram page to everyone. What started as a small network grew into a community of nearly 10,000 artists. Through thousands of conversations we learned what artists actually need, and what the art world keeps failing to give them: visibility, ownership of their data, and a fair place to sell. Stoodio, the platform, is the answer we built.
